With the conductive metallic aggregate, this system never needs waxing, in order to preserve its electrical properties.  If desired, the floor may be waxed (ESD Wax only), which help preserve and enhance it's gloss.

All systems are re-coatable at nominal cost, at the end of their service life.

 

TYPICAL ESD SYSTEM:

Base Layer/Primer
The base layer consists of a 100% conductive solids epoxy polymer, forming a highly conductive ground plane. This ground plane provides the foundation for the floor's electrically conductive network. This layer is composed of an extremely hard aggregate that's permanently embedded into the base layer, further increasing the floor's overall strength. Within this aggregate mixture are virtually indestructible, electrically conductive carbide bits. With 14,400 carbide bits per square foot, the core layer provides millions of paths to ground, resulting in consistent ESD protection, while eliminating the risk of nonconductive voids.

The Protective Top Layer
The protective top layer contains a conductive matrix, that's suspended within an aliphatic urethane. This conductive top layer provides a seamless, satin wear surface with superior abrasion and chemical resistance, as well as excellent cleanability and scuff resistance.

Optional:  additional BASE COAT- If the existing substrate is in poor condition (e.g.- patches, holes, adhesive/glue residue, rough concrete, etc.), than an additional base coat of epoxy shall be required, in repair these defects, prior to application of the ESD coating system.
